I'm Asian, grew in the hood and can relate to these kids. But when I turned about 26 (i'm 43 now), I realized that I was trying to be someone that I'm not (bloods and crips junk). I have watched around Two Thousand (including Made for TV and Straight to Video) horror movies. I had a store that sold Horror and Trash movies on dead formats, and a channel (not monetized) that uploads old VHS including HTF Horror. Now, the guy who is evidently in charge of the "Horror Community" as kicked me out. Apparently I'm not going to be able to make extra cash on eBay unless I transition and renounce my race. I’ve had a lot of friends die in Kensington but one stands out in my mind. He died on the sidewalk from a fentanyl OD in the middle of summer. His body was left lying dead there for three days and two nights before someone noticed the smell. Cops said had been “baking in the hot sun” for days. When police came, they realized someone had robbed his body of his wallet and belongings, most likely after he died. THAT is Kensington. You aren’t in danger if you go there without security, unless you go at night or are an addict without recovery/strong support.
